    Description

    Small lot of  13 brass horse harness medallions.  These were made for decoration for the harnesses of draft horses, and started to become popular in the mid-19th century, primarily in England.
    This lot has some corrosion, the pictures shows the condition accurately; please look closely to see if the lot meets your needs.  There aren't any makers marks on these.   Two have lettering, "Loudon Red Lion" and "Jamaica".  These all are the cast type, not stamped from sheet; they vary slightly in size, but most are 2 1/2" - 3"  across, and a little taller top to bottom because of the loop.  Varied themes: draft horse, stags, owl, eagle, flowers, elephant, and  castles.  What you see in the pics is what you will get.
