1892 Marshall Field Store Catalog Scrap Book SF Chronicle News Clippings Antique!
Weighs in at 6.1 pounds!
A goldmine for those interested in items from the 1890's!
Measures 12 3/8" x 9" x almost 3" in some areas depending where you
measure the thickness.
Some "scrapbooked" pages were placed so one could still lift up
the newspaper and see part of the original Marshall Field catalog page
so not all of the pages are unable to be seen under the clippings.
I would guess that there is over 60% of untouched original catalog pages.
Pre-Owned with excessive wear to spine, covers, inside pages, etc..
Covers are not attached to a spine anymore, there really is not spine.
Part of the catalog was turned into a San Francisco Chronicle Newspaper
Clipping scrapbook and the rest of it is in it's original form.
Many, many untouched pages advertising everything from
Steam Trunks to Perfume to Handbags to musical
instruments, etc..
Please know this is so very fragile that when the newspaper
is touched it falls apart.
