early 1919 Marshall Field saw that Men's fashion advertising was needed. he hired Grauman & Co. to send out 100,000 thousand to men in the Chicago area. this booklet is one of them. 12 pages of men's fashions. measures 8 x 11 inches. the front cover is overlapping paper and shows some usage. the inside illustrations have been well protected and are in excellent condition.
top hats, walking cane, overcoat and chauffer driven limo. lunch at the "men's grill". game of snooker and a business meeting. a round of golf before dinner. all depicted in these pages.
"A Big Idea" was adopted by Grauman & Co as the title slogan. well known illustrators were hired. ,000 was invested
