1941 Plymouth Woodie (Woody) Wagon Beautiful Hand Crafted Surf Art - Automobilia

This auction is for an extremely unique 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe Woodie (Woody) Station Wagon model.  This handcrafted, gallery quality, art piece was created by expert woodworker Jeff Hobgood (TheRealWoodman) who also does restorations of real woodie wagons and is a Director in the National Woodie Club.  It is made to look just like a 1941 Plymouth with accurate proportions, etc., but is handcrafted out of wood and hand finished. I worked with Jeff in 2014 to have him create this item for me and just about every piece is crafted from wood.  Jeff does true to the original scale models and also hot rod versions.  I had him do this one as a true to the original scale model. It was displayed by Jeff at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California and I picked it up from him there at the show (see photo).  It is an amazing piece of art that is a real show stopper as you can see in the photos; it is hard to do it justice in photos.  This is a very unique item that would look impressive in any setting and everyone always commented on it when I had it on display in my home.  It is approximately 24 inches long by 10 inches wide by 9 inches tall.  Hood and tailgate both open.
