    Vintage Halle's Postcard
    Vintage Halle's Department Store, Middleburg Heights, Cleveland, Ohio Postal Card measures app. 3-1/4" x 5-1/2".  The front of the postcard features the department store name stamped in red, along with the address of the recipient; the card was posted September 15, 1959 from Cleveland, Ohio.  The return address reads as follows:

    The reverse side of the postcard reads as follows:
    This is to inform you that the uniforms
    are in and may be picked up at your
    convenience.

    Halle's is remembered for its 7th Floor Toy Department and Mr. Jingeling Christmas Elf Character who appeared on television daily throughout the holiday seasons during the 1950's and 1960's.  Cleveland, Ohio Halle's stores were located in the surrounding suburbs as well as downtown.  In addition, Halle's was a subsidiary of Marshall Field Company of Chicago, Illinois.

    The Vintage Halle's Postcard is in Very Good Used Condition for its Considerable Age, with little wear noted from many years of past storage.  Please see accompanying photographs.
