    Exhibits to memorandum in support of petition for pardon for Abbie Hoffman, Gerald B Lefcourt attorneys for Abbie Hoffman. From the home of a Woodstock NY woman who was an activist and supporter of issues of the 1960s and 70s. Given to her by Gerald B Lefcourt.
    As you can see by the title page, it's been laying around and has a foxed titled page from having something on top of it for many years.

    Abbie Hoffman (1936-1989) American Political And Social Activist, Anarchist, Socialist And Revolutionary Who Co-Founded The Youth International Party (Yippies). He was a proponent Of The Flower Child Movement. He Was Arrested And Tried For Conspiracy And Inciting To Riot During The 1968 Democratic National Convention. He Was A Member Of The Group Known As The Chicago Eight. He Died Of Suicide In 1989.
