Check out these 3 rare anti-war flyers, posters!
We are offering a lot of three (3) vintage Anti-War flyers, leaflets from early 1971. These, and many other leaflets, were fairly common during those tumultuous years, especially near college campuses. Consider: the Vietnam War was raging. The military draft was still dragging on. The country was culturally divided.
One flyer is titled GIVE EARTH A CHANCE, a nationwide call for a peaceful protest - a Moratorium in Washington D.C. Printed by the War Resisters League. It is estimated that 500,000 protesters descended on D.C. for this massive demonstration! It is in very good condition. The next leaflet says Join The Women's Contingent for a March On Washington and San Francisco April 24. Women Unite Against The War. This is in good vintage condition with some yellowing and normal edgewear. On the back is some scribbling done is pencil, which could be erased if necessary. The last one is titled the JOINT TREATY FOR PEACE BETWEEN THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH VIETNAM AND NORTH VIETNAM. At the bottom is: Printed by USNSA. This leaflet has a 4.5" tear across the middle. This collection might be fascinating to read for someone who lived through those strange years. As someone once sang - What a long strange trip it's been!
The 3 papers are in fair to good vintage condition as described above - some normal edgewear, some yellowing and some wrinkles on the paper. All 3 are standard paper size - 8.5"x11".
We are currently offering several other newspapers, pamphlets or flyers from the 1970-1971 timeframe. Please take a look at our other items
