    Description

With a lovely Western twist in a very Victorian era, this lovely silver concho rosette once adorned the bridle of a well-appointed carriage horse. This is an excellent example of the concho rosettes from this era, with brands and horses being the most popular by far. Lovingly repurposed into a stunning piece of modern jewelry this antique rosette is sure to become your most interesting statement piece. Beautiful etched horse head, chestnut-colored vintage belt leather cuff in oak and black with brass snaps. Rosette is circa 1880s, cuff is circa 1970s. Cuff measures 8 ½ inches long x 1 ½ inches wide, adjustable 7 – 7 ¾ inches with the rosette measuring 1 ¾ inches around. This Rosette is featured in the book
Bridle Rosettes, Two centuries of Equine Adornment
