This 1920's advertising ashtray for automobile Tires.
The tray is in the shape of a tire and advertises The "Pennsylvania Rubber Company" of Jeanette, PA and their NON SKID "Vacuum Cup" cords, or VC. The interesting thing about this piece is that it was originally clear but the glass contains
manganese which turns amethyst when exposed to sunlight. The item is in great condition and is authentically old.
