    Presented is a wonderful American sterling silver cheese serving scoop. This piece dates to circa 1883-1909 and was made by William Wilson & Son of Philadelphia. The server is beautifully decorated with a realistic floral motif on the handle. The back of the handle has a monogram of SDM in elegant script.
    This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    The stem of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for William Wilson & Son, a Philadelphia silver maker active circa 1883-1909.
    The scoop is about 8 1/2 inches long.
    This piece weighs 61.4 grams or 2.2 regular ounces.
