This belonged to my late father, who was a lifelong master mechanic.
Among the first automobiles on which he worked were Ford Model Ts.
Ford equipped Model Ts with this Dietz lamp.
My mother converted it to electricity for use as a hanging lamp in our home.
Much surface corrosion, but structurally intact.
The glass lens bears a few tiny scratches and a bubble, but no cracks or chips.
Excellent condition for its age.
