    Description

5 x 7" stiff paper folder printed with front cover plea "Justice Cannot Be Purchased, But In Today's Circumstances It Is Not Free. Please Help." Cover also requests contributions to be sent to Harrisburg Defense Committee based in New York City with address. Inside front cover is blank facing page of sixteen perforated but unused and unbroken stamps for letter seals. The stamps picture two different images alternating positions to each other. One image is prison photo of Catholic priest Daniel Berrigan, noted for anti-war protests including burning draft records in Catonville, MD. Alternate image is his hand bound by handcuffs with one hand in peace gesture. Tiny caption beneath each of the hand view is "We Have Chosen To Say, With The Gift Of Our Liberty, If Necessary Our Lives: The Violence Stops Here, The Death Stops Here, The Suppression Of The Truth Stops Here, This War Stops Here." Back cover is gummed surface for application of stamps to correspondence covers or similar. Cover fold has 1.5" split of perforations, rest is Near Mint.
