    2.5” pin back button with his name, photo, birth year and year of his death. This button is from the Marshall Levin Collection and was the master example in the collection with Levin’s documentation on the reverse in black marker. “L.I.” stands for Long Island as the area where it was used and “1/86” stands for issue date in January, 1986. King’s birthday was Jan. 15th and button was likely issued as part of the movement to declare his birthday a national holiday. Only example we have found in the collection which we have been selling from for years. Mint.
