This pin was issued in the early 1970s in opposition to the war in Vietnam and calling upon the U.S. to sign the peace agreement being proposed by the National Liberation Front ( Vietcong ) and North Vietnam.  The pin referes to a March against Death planned for January 20.
The pin was issued by PCPJ,
the
Peoples Coalition for Peace & Justice.
In addition to opposing the war in South East Asia,
PCPJ
was organized
to confront social issues such as
poverty, labor, repression and sexism
in the United States.
PCPJ was created in
1970
as a successor to
the Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam.  PCPJ
organized several campaigns including the
People's Peace Treaty
,
Citizen's Action Pledge
, and
Nixon Eviction campaign
.
