Page 250 features biographical sketches of the 11 Democratic nominees which includes Hon. John Slidell of Louisiana, Hon. James L. Orr of South Carolina, General Sam Houston of Texas, Senator Robert T. Hunter of Virginia, Hon. John C. Breckinridge of Kentucky, Hon. Jefferson Davis of Mississippi, Hon. Joseph Lane of Oregon, Hon.
