    was begun as a response to the SCOTUS
    decision in the
    Island Trees School District 26
    versus Pico
    case where it was decided that a
    school district could not ban books. As a student in
    that school district, it was particularly embarrasing
    for us to be associated with the restrictive policy which we
    fought against. This button was made for the
    supporters of the challengers.
