  • Condition: Shows normal age, fade, a small tear on the at the bottom RH corner as shown. Interior clean but aged. Label is very good, clear, one corner torn, light spoiling so SEE PHOTOS as they serve as part of the condition statement. Selling as found, as is.

    A nice find, and rather scarce as well.  Antique late Victorian era large cardboard box from a store in Baltimore Maryland.  THe box once contained a fur garment, is now empty.  Fabulous label!  A large bear for the logo.  The store name is clearly printed R. G. Taylor & Co. Importers and Manufacturers of FURS, Opposite Barnum's Hotel, Baltimore.   "Furs Received to Insure During the Summer Months against Damage by Moths".  A large box, it measures  23 1/4" long by 11" wide and is  4 1/4" deep.
    A great memento from the great city of Baltimore!  Makes a fabulous display.
