    This is a gold rimmed decorative plate with a picture of the Flat Rock, Michigan facility that opened on October 8, 1987. This was the first Japanese owned US factory. It remained Mazda from 1987-1992. From 1992 - 2011 it was a joint venture between Mazda and Ford. The last Mazda rolled off the line in 2012. Own a little piece of history with the date, Mazda mission, and facility stats printed on the back. It is in very good condition with no scratches or cracks.
