    BUTTON
2 1/8" with lock pin - Made in the USA
    FREEZE
In 1981, the first national conference  of the
"Freeze" Movement was held at Georgetown University
at the Center for Peace Studies.  The following year, there
were dozens of rallies and demonstrations calling for
freezing the production of nuclear weapons. This design,
by Roger Hoffman, was copyright in 1982. It has a very
unique design with ice block tongs holding a frozen block
of ice with the word "FREEZE" on one side.  Inside the
ice, a nuclear explosion can be seen coming out of a
blue and green representation of the Earth. The copyright
and date is noted in the lower right side of the button face.
