Parking Meter COIN VIEW LENS, with modification, will replace your Duncan lens

Up for auction is a
NEW OLD STOCK, NOS.....I would call it a coin view lens, but the factory calls it a
Snap in Scotch eye, part #101-636
for a Magee - Hale Park-O-Meter (POM) parking meter....
BUT WITH A SMALL MODIFICATION, YOU CAN MAKE IT FIT YOUR DUNCAN METER! ALL THAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TRIM THE 3 TABS SO THAT THEY WILL SLIDE DOWN AND SEAT IN THE HOLE, THEN PUT A SMALL DROP OF SUPERGLUE ON THE ENDS OF THE 3 TRIMMED TABS... THAT'S IT! IT'S NOT ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT, BUT LOOKS GOOD!

I guess that I need to add this information to this listing... This is the 4th time I have been asked this question, today! LOL
It's not the CORRECT lens for a Duncan model 60, but if you trim the clips to match the depth to the shoulder in the hole and then put a small drop of glue on the 3 trimmed tabs, it works. I have done it a number of times and it looks good, just not original.
I just trimmed one to fit a Duncan model 60 that I'm working on. See pictures below.

Due to a Shoulder problem... and I only have part-time help in the shop, twice a week. I have changed my handling time from 1 day to 5 days. This will be in effect until my shoulder gets better. Thank you for your understanding! Roger
