Dewar Trophy Medallion Awarded to Cadillac 1909 & 1913.
Medallion measures approx 3" and commemorates the 1909 & 1913 annual Dewar Trophy won by Cadillac.
The award was given by the Royal Automobile Club of Great Britain to the car demonstrating the greatest advance in the automotive industry.
At the time, Cadillac was the only American car to have won the medal and the only car in the world to have won twice.
Great condition with a nice patina.
Medallion is heavy and very well made. It was produced by Traub Brothers Co. out of Detroit, who at the time were foremost jewelers in the area.
