Description

These 12" (300mm) digital calipers use a highly accurate Absolute encoder technology. This technology memorizes origin zero. ZERO buttons allows setting of “Absolute Zero” or origin at any point in the travel of the sensor. ABS button establishes “Incremental Zero” to allow measurement of relative or comparative distances. Hitting ABS button again returns reading to “Absolute Zero.” “Absolute Zero” will need to be set once for it will be maintained for all future measurements, even when the instrument is switched off. Incremental measurements can be made at any time without losing the origin setting.
