    Description

    Offered here is a nice piece of history from the civil rights movement of the 1960s.  This button United We Shall Overcome button that incorporates the statement from the gospel song, We Shall Overcome.  It depicts shaking White and Black hands.  The button was made by the AAA Novelty, which went out of business in 1965.  This button is 1 1/4" and a "celluloid" button.  It has some wear and tear as shown in the photos.
