VINTAGE STEER HORN MOUNT
Cool vintage cast aluminum steer or cow horns measuring 10" wide, about 5" deep and 1-3/4" between the dual screw mounts. Featuring molded fur between the curved horns, they are designed to mount onto the front of a car or truck hood or similar. I removed them from an old golf cart hood - I believe they date to the 1960s or 1970s based on the estate at which they were purchased. Condition is very nice with no nicks, dents, cracks, rust, breakage or damage -- there is fine patination from element exposure on the exterior which you can feel with your fingers - I tried to take a photo, but it is difficult to see. Think these are just so fun - perfect over a barn door or similar Western display!
