Description

Signed by Emory Douglas and Eldridge Cleaver on 10-5-1968 while Eldridge was running for President and shortly before he fled the country to avoid prosecution for ambushing two cops. One day after making his famous speech at UCLA campus. I was told by the estate I got this from that the Poster hung in a Black Panthers Central Headquarters in West Oakland CA but I cannot confirm that although I am sure maybe a
surviving
member of the party or Mr. Douglas himself may be able to.  This is the ONLY known signed/dated poster of this type to exist. A piece of history signed with the iconic " Power to the People" and meant to be used as propaganda to recruit more female Panthers "Pussy power to the ladys the prettier the lady the greater the power"!!!!!!  This is an original highly sought after signed 1st or 2nd printing extremely iconic poster.
